Status at New Ireland. Recorded from New Ireland in original description by Fricke (2017c: 68), based on NTUM 11318 (holotype, 38.6 mm SL, St. CP 4490-22, off northwest side of New Hanover).

Distribution and habitat. New Ireland: 1.—General distribution: Apparently endemic to New Ireland Province. 120–155 m depth. Marine.
