( Fig. 14 View FIGURES 13 – 17. 13 )

Description. Male. Integument dark brown. Pubescence predominantly dark brown dorsally except for whitish maculae as follows: a median longitudinal line from superior margin of clypeus to anterior margin of prothorax, a narrow line surrounding lobes of eyes; extreme base or basal third of antennomeres III–VII; an interrupted narrow longitudinal line in middle of pronotum and three broader lines on each side on external border of pronotum and sides of prothorax, two of them visible from above. Elytra with large rounded median white patch and numerous minute spots, denser on basal half; basal two tarsomeres covered with white pubescence. Ventral side of body covered with dense grayish-white pubescence.

Antennae reaching apices of elytra at distal part of antennomere V. Prothorax with a lateral obtuse tubercle at beginning of distal third. Pronotum with a transverse depression parallel to posterior border, inside depression is a single line of points. Elytral apices transversely truncate, external angle with minute tooth. Basal half with scattered minute punctures. Metatarsomere I at least twice as long as II+III together. Fifth urotergite rounded at apex; fifth urosternite transversely emarginate, angles with minute tooth.

Female. Antennae reaching the apices of elytra middle of antennomere VII; fifth urotergite elongate, obtuse at apex; fifth urosternite transversely truncate.

Measurements (mm), male/female. Total length, 9.6–10.3/8.8–10.5; prothorax length, 1.8–2.3/1.5–2.2; prothorax width, 2.4–2.5/2.1–2.5; elytral length, 7.0–7.2/6.5–7.2; humeral width, 3.0–3.1/3.0–3.5.

Etymology. The name acknowledges Dr. Marcela Laura Monné (MNRJ) for her valuable work on the Neotropical Cerambycidae .
