Redescription. Male. Integument black. Pubescence predominantly dark brown to black on dorsum except for grayish white maculae, as follows: line bordering posterior margins of superior lobes of eyes; three longitudinal lines on each side of middle of pronotum, middle line interrupted anteriorly and posteriorly, and narrower than other lines; elytra with transverse line on base from humeri to scutellum and three belts formed by longitudinal spots on basal third, middle, and apical third. Ventral surface covered with grayish pubescence.

Antennae reaching elytral apices at middle of antennomere V. Prothorax slightly expanded from anterior margin to behind; without lateral tubercles or projections. Pronotum with single transverse line of punctures near posterior margin. Apex of elytron obliquely emarginate, external angle projecting in acute tooth. Surface with fine scattered punctations, mainly on basal half. Last urotergite truncate; last urosternite semicircularly emarginate. Metatarsomere I as long as II+III.

Female. Antennae reaching elytral apices at middle of antennomere VI. Ovipositor projecting beyond elytral apices, last urotergite acute; last urosternite semicircularly emarginate.

Measurements (mm), male/female. Total length, 4.1–5.6/5.2–7.7; prothorax length, 0.9–1.1/1.0–1.5; prothorax width, 1.1–1.6/1.1–2.0; elytral length, 2.4–4.0/3.5–5.5; humeral width, 1.4–2.9/1.5–2.5.

Comments. The surface of the elytra is covered with grayish and black pubescence arranged in interrupted longitudinal lines, mainly on the basal half.
