Geographic distribution as in figure 8.

Specimens examined: CHILE: Magallanes, Punta Arenas, (3 specimens with same data, BMNH); X-14- 1952, Cekalovic col. (9 specimens with same data, BMNH); forest S of Useless bay (English translation for Bahía Inútil View in CoL ), XII-1904, Crawshay col. (BMNH).

Temporal distribution: October to January.

According to Morrone & Roig-Juñent (1995), this species is present in the continental area of the Patagonian subregion. Based on specimens from BMNH and CADIC, the distributional area of C. clathratus View in CoL is extended to Tierra del Fuego, recorded in the steppe areas.
