Coloration and structure similar to E. repexus (see below).
Male genitalia. Pygofer height more than length in lateral view, dorsal margin convex, posterior membranous lobe finger-like, ventral process with a few teeth-like projections, abruptly narrowed subapically to a slender thin process about as long as lobe. Subgenital plates, style and connective as in generic description. Aedeagus robust, short, with crestlike ventral marginal ridge, ventral extension of atrium well developed, dorsolateral lobes rounded with process elongate reaching ventral margin of shaft, in posteroventral view, aedeagus broadened distally, shaft with basal pair of short lobes, slightly curved anteriorly with lateral lobes, in posteroventral view broad at base and gradually narrowed distally with apical gonopore.
Measurements. Male 5.5 and 5.6 mm long, 1.5 and 1.6 mm wide across eyes and 1.7 and 1.8 mm wide across posterolateral angels of pronotum.
Material examined. Holotype ♂, INDIA: 15 Km NE Manali, 2348 m, 12.x.1979, C.A.Viraktamath ( UASB). Paratype, 1 ♂ data as in holotype ( UASB).
Remarks. E. manaliensis closely resembles E. repexus and convolutus (all sympatric in Manali) in coloration and structure but can be differentiated by the peculiar pygofer ventral process and the aedeagus.
