Subgenital plate exceeding pygofer, with hair-like setae. Style and connective as in generic description. Aedeagus robust, with elongate well developed preatrium, dorsolateral lobes ovoid, with short quadrangular processes not reaching dorsal margin of shaft, dorsal half of shaft pigmented, apically with pair of short prong-like processes on dorsal margin of gonopore, ventral margin of aedeagus in basal region with effaced angular prominences.

Material examined. Holotype ♂ INDIA: Himachal. Pradesh: 19 Km S Manali, 1500m, 11.x.1979, C.A. Viraktamath ( UASB) . Paratypes: 1 ♂, INDIA: Himachal Pradesh: Manali , 1828 m, 11.x.1979, C.A. Viraktamath ; 1 ♂, same data except 10.x.1979, Ghorpade ( UASB) .
Remarks. This species closely resembles E. repexus and manaliensis , all sympatric in Manali, but can be recognised by the structure of the ventral pygofer process and by the shape of the aedeagus.
