Distribution. Transeurasiatic, temperate. From European part of Russia to Primorye, Sakhalin Isl. and Kurils. Outside Russia in Europe ( Finland, Baltic states, Belarus, Poland, Slovakia, Austria), Japan (Hokkaido, Honshu isl.).
Hostplants: Betula ( Beljaev 2016) .
Note. The previous records of Lomaspilis opis Butler, 1878 for the Baikal region likely belong to L. nigrita , which was erected to the species rank by Beljaev (2016: 570).
