Distribution. Siberian-Far Eastern, subboreal. From Altai to Primorye and Sakhalin Isl.. Outside of Russia in NE and N China, N Korea.
Hostplants: Ribes dikuscha ( Beljaev 2016) .
Note. Recently, A. karafutonis was found in the nature reserve “Tigireksky’’, Altai ( Naydenov, Yakovlev, 2018: 256, 260: incorrect identification as “ Abraxas grossulariata L.”). This locality should be treated as the westernmost border of the range of A. karafutonis .
