Distribution. Transeurasiatic, temperate. Throughout the Russian territory from Kaliningradskaya Oblast to Primorye. Outside Russia in Europe, Turkey, Transcaucasia, N Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, N China, Korea, Japan (Hokkaido, Honshu isl.).
Hostplants: deciduous trees ( Betula , Prunus , Pinus , Alnus , Salix ) and shrubs ( Vaccinium uliginosum ), also coniferous trees ( Larix ) and herbaceous plants ( Hypericum , Calluna , Alchemilla , Ptarmica , Artemisia ) ( Beljaev 2016).
