Chariaspilates formosaria: Viidalepp, 1979: 784 View in CoL ; 1996: 79 (“S. Siberia, Dahuria”); Mironov et al., 2008: 197 (region 26, 27 “?”).
Material examined. No specimens were found from the study area.
Distribution. Transeurasiatic, subboreal. Volga region, Crimea, Caucasus, southern Ural, Western Siberia, Altai, Transbaikalia, southern part of the Far East, Kurils. Outside Russia: Europe, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, NE and central China, Korea, Japan (Hokkaido, Honshu, Shikoku, Kyushu isl.).
Hostplants: in Europe Lysimachia vulgaris , Myrica gale , Caltha palustris , Rumex ( Skou & Sihvonen 2015) .
