Synonym: Biddulphia robertsiana Boyer.

Type locality: Curteis Straits, Queenland.

Reference: Hustedt 1927 –1930, p. 803, fig. 466.

Morphometrics: Valves 83 (60–160) μm in apical length, areolae 21 (15–25) in 100 μm.

Remarks: Triceratium robertsianum is distributed along the coast of warmer marine waters ( Hustedt 1927 – 1930), in the coasts of India ( Gopinathan 1984, Baliarsingh et al. 2012), and in the Suez Canal of Egypt ( Zalat 2002). In addition, it is on the check-list of diatom flora in the Caribbean Sea ( Navarro & Hernández-Becerril 1997). It was very rare along the Seogwipo coast in Jeju Island, and is newly described in South Korea.
