Novit., 2532:1-20, studied the morphology of the spermatozoa. Reviewed by Carleton, 1980:118, 123, who considered Osgoodomys a distinct genus. Pine et al., 1979, Mammalia, 43:357, considered Osgoodomys Hooper and Musser , a nomen nudum; Carleton, 1980, may have been first to make the name available (RHP).
