TYPE LOCALITY: Kenya, Taveta .
DISTRIBUTION: S. Kenya coast; Tanzania; Malawi; N.E. Zambia.
COMMENT: Includes major which was listed as a distinct species by Misonne, 1974, Part 6: 11; see Ansell, 1978:76. After examining specimens of both, MDC would retain major as a separate species pending demonstration of conspecificity with hindei .
ISIS NUMBER: 5301410008100001001 as B. hindei .
