TYPE LOCALITY: China, Sinkiang, Lob Nor .

DISTRIBUTION: Sinkiang to Kansu ( China).

COMMENT: Not yet found in Mongolia; see Corbet, 1978:128. Sokolov and Orlov, 1980:156, included this species in Meriones , without comment.
