COMMENT: Originally named in Baiomys , included in C. laucha by Hershkovitz, 1962, Fieldiana Zool., 46; 152; considered a distinct species by Handley, 1976, Brigham Young Univ. Sci. Bull. Biol. Ser., 20(5):53.
