Lectotype (designated here):—BRAZIL. Pará: Belém, mata humosa entre Catú e Providência, 3 December 1914, A . Ducke HJBR 18135 (RB 3 sheets, duplicates: CEPEC, F, G, IAN, INPA, K, MBM, MBML, MG, NY , S, SP, SPF, US). Syntypes: A. Ducke HJBR 21250 (RB) and A. Ducke HJBR 21099 (RB).
