Moina micrura Kurz, 1874 View in CoL .
A common planktonic species occurring in any types of lotic water bodies, it could inhabit temporary waters. Males and ephippial females occurred in both spring (a pond S15), and autumn (rice field A28, lake A34). M. micrura is a cosmopolitan species complex ( Petrusek et al. 2004), rather common in East and South-East Asia, including China ( Xiang et al. 2015). For more information, see Goulden (1968).
