Ceriodaphnia cornuta Sars, 1885 View in CoL .
A planktonic species found only in autumn, relatively common in autumn lakes, also found in a single ditch (A11) and a single rice field (A27). Multiple ephippial females occurred in a single lake (A16). Taxon of unclear status, presumed to be pantropical, common in South regions of China ( Xiang et al. 2015). This species was first described from Australia. C. rigaudi Richard, 1884 , described from North Vietnam, is presumed to be a form of C. cornuta ( Rzóska 1956; Kotov & Ferrari 2010) but a future revision is needed.
