Type species: Neotydeus ardisanneae Baker, 1950 , by original designation.
Diagnosis. With characteristics of the family. Eyes absent. Solenidia on legs and palptarsus erect. Setae (u) of tarsi II–IV not bifurcate. With two pairs of genital acetabulae.
Species included. The genus Neotydeus includes one species: N. ardisanneae Baker, 1950 from USA.
