Thai distribution: S: Trang ( Beaver 1999), Surat Thani.
New record: Surat Thani, Khao Sok NP, ex cut liane, ca 3 cm diam., 23.ii.2012 ( R. A. Beaver) (3) .
Other distribution: Malaysia (W.). (3)
Biology: Collected from a small cut pole (2.0– 2.5 cm diameter) ( Beaver & Browne 1979), and from lianes ( Beaver & Gebhardt 2004; new record above). Beaver and Browne (1979) noted that each gallery contained only a single adult, and the entrance was largely blocked by frass, leaving only a small central hole.
