Thai distribution: C: Kanchanaburi ; N: Chiang Mai; S: Chumphon, Nakhon Sri Thammarat, Surat Thani . The record from Nakhon Ratchasima ( Beaver & Browne 1975 as Xyleborus perminutissimus View in CoL ) should be deleted since it was based on a misidentified specimen. The species is hence new to Thailand.
