Chorology.
Stenus derwisch is a Hyrcanian endemic, which is comparatively widespread in the South Caspian mountains (Fig. 20 View Figures 19–24 ). The species is hitherto recorded from the very north of Gilan at 38°13'N, 48°53'E (Astara) eastwards to Central Mazandaran at about 52°20'E (Amol).
