Description of Pseudomonas hibiscicola IMCC View in CoL 25602
Cells are Gram-staining-negative, non-flagellated, non-pigmented and rod-shaped. Colonies are circular, raised, entire and white-colored after 10 days of incubation on R2A at 20°C. Positive for esculin hydrolysis, β -galactosidase and indole production, but negative for arginine dihydrolase, cytochrome oxidase, gelatinase, glucose fermentation, nitrates reduction and urease in API 20NE test. N -Acetyl-glucosamine, L-arabinose, D-glucose, malic acid, D-maltose, D-mannitol, D-mannose and potassium gluconate are utilized. Strain IMCC25602 (= NIBRBAC000497992) has been isolat- ed from fresh water sample, Chuncheon, Gangwon-do, Korea.
