This species is observed rarely on crops, sometimes in apple orchards and on strawberries, where it seems able to control T. urticae and Phytonemus pallidus (Banks) (Fitzgerald et al., 2008) . Studies in USSR discovered the thelytoky in this species. This is the first record of this species in Morocco.
Specimens examined: 2003, Larache Beach on Echium vulgare (Boraginaceae) (1 female).
