This species is mainly reported from Israel where it has been observed on many plants but never on crops. Nothing is known of its biology. It has been reported in France mainly in littoral areas. This is the first time it has been reported from Morocco, where it was mainly found near the Atlantic Ocean coast.
Specimens examined: 2002, Bouazza on Carlina racemosa (Asteraceae) (1 female), Emex spinosa (Polygonaceae) (7 females, 4 males), Eryngium maritimum (Apiaceae) (3 females), Euphorbia pithyusa (Euphorbiaceae) (7 females), Medicago marina (Fabaceae) (2 females), Road from El Jadida to Casablanca on Rhus sp. ( Anacardiaceae ) (1 female), Aïoun Asserdoun Spring on Punica granatum (Lythraceae) (1 female); 2003, Larache on Chenopodium album (Amaranthaceae) (1 female), Gorges of Zegzel on Euphorbia sp. ( Euphorbiaceae ) (1 female), Larache Beach on Erodium ciconium (Geraniaceae) (2 females), Solanum nigrum (Solanaceae) (2 females), Euphorbia peplus (Euphorbiaceae) (2 females), Limonium ferulaceum (Plumbaginaceae) (1 female), Salicornia europaea (Amaranthaceae) (1 female), Saïdia on Lotus creticus (Fabaceae) (2 females), Malva parviflora (Malvaceae) (2 females), Anthemis sp. ( Asteraceae ) (5 females), Carduus cephalanthus (Asteraceae) (4 females), Pseudorlaya pumila (Apiaceae) (4 females, 2 males).
