Redescription. Body generally yellow or yellowish brown, surface with punctures ( Figures 17 View FIGURE 17 . a, b). Head yellow, yellowish brown or reddish brown and with punctures ( Figure 17 View FIGURE 17 . c). Antennae yellow, yellowish brown or reddish brown, last segment dark brown ( Figure 17 View FIGURE 17 . d). Distal part of pronotum wrinkled and yellow. Thoracic pleuron yellowish brown and with punctures. Antennae without conspicuous setae. Antennal segment 1st does not extend to apex of head. Rostrum yellowish brown, two apical segments black, extending to hind coxae. Pronotum medially with transverse, shiny tubercles. Anterior part of pronotum yellow, posterior part yellowish brown. Scutellum with yellow, yellowish brown or black stripe, extends to apex of abdomen, scutellum with medial carina. Spiracles brown.
Venter yellow or yellowish brown. Dorsum yellow, legs yellow, fore femur with black spot. Ventral side of tibias with black punctures. Claws black. Connexival tubercles weakly developed. Connexivum yellow, same colour as surface, with punctures, lateral black.
Male genitalia: Ventral view of pygophore yellow, with brown punctures. Medial region of ventral rim of pygophore weakly concave, superior process kidney shaped ( Figures 17 View FIGURE 17 . e, f, g). Distal part of paramere narrow ( Figures 17 View FIGURE 17 . h, i).
Female genitalia: 8th gonocoxites yellowish brown and with brown punctures. 8th and 9th gonapophyses yellow, 9th gonocoxites yellow and gibbous ( Figure 17 View FIGURE 17 . j).
Measurements in millimetres of 3 and (Ƥ): Males (n=3) females (n=3). Length of head 1.44 (1.87), width 1.56 (1.93), interocular distance 1.00 (1.15), lengths of antennal segments I, II, III, IV and V, 0.37 (0.45), 0.50 (0.58), 0.27 (0.40), 0.40 (0.53) and 0.73 (0.77), width of pronotum with distal part of humeral process 4.51 (4.80); width of abdomen 3.93 (4.30); total length of body 7.01 (9.20).
Material examined. Turkey: Van, Gürpınar, Çavuştepe, 24.07.2009, 3Ƥ, 43 (leg. Dursun); 1Ƥ, 13, Typus Caucasus, Araxsethal, Leder. Reitter, Cool. Horváth, ( HNHM)
Distribution. Asia: Azerbaijan, Armenia, Iran ( Horváth 1889, 1891; Rider 2006; Péricart 2010).
Distribution in Turkey. Van, Gürpınar, Çavuştepe, New record for the fauna of Turkey.
Comments. This Ponto-Mediterranean species was identified in Azerbaijan ( Horváth 1889), subsequently it was recorded only in Armenia and Iran ( Rider 2006; Péricart 2010). It is recorded as new to Turkey in the present study. All Turkish specimens were collected on Thlaspi kurdicum Hedge (Brassicaceae) which is probably its host plant (new host plant record).
