Basionym:— Anastrophyllum austroamericanum Váňa, J. Hattori Bot. Lab. 48: 22, 1980 ( Váňa 1980). Type:— COLOMBIA. Boyacá : Páramo de La Laguna Negra , 3745 m, Cleef 7269 (holotype U!, isotype PRC!) .
