Remarks. Not a new record. As stated by Mak (1982: 609) the species can easily be recognized by its long opercular funnel which has a deep hollow. A further distinguishing character is its radial grooves, extending for almost the entire opercular funnel length ( Imajima 1977 fig. 2 a).
