Type locality.
"Mount Rabong, West Sarawak".
Material examined.
Gunung Kapor: ME 8492, ME 9080. Gunung Batu: ME 0824.
Distribution in Borneo.
Sarawak: Kuching Division. Endemic to Borneo.
Remarks.
It is similar to Japonia metcalfei (Issel, 1874), but differs in having higher spire and narrower umbilicus. Only dry shells were found during the surveys.
