Paratype ♂, Thailand, Surat Thani, Khao Sok NP, headquarters, 12–19.v.2009, 8° 54.896' N, 98° 31.81' E, 115m, Malaise trap, Pongphan (collection code T4863) (no sequence data) ( QSBG) GoogleMaps .

Body length (corrected) 4.3 mm, fore wing length 3.2 mm and antenna length 5.0 mm.

Antenna with 41 flagellomeres. Terminal flagellomere acuminate. Median flagellomeres 2.2 x longer than wide. Occipital carina complete, forming a point mediodorsally, which gives rise anteriorly to a distint midlongitudinal carina on occiput, ventrally joining hypostomal carina. Mesopleuron largely striate rugose with precoxal sulcus foveate rugose, speculum absent. Midlongitudinal propodeal carina only present on anterior third of propodeum. Fore wing vein 2-CU1 1.3 x 1-CU1. Apex of fore wing subbasal cell evenly setose. Fore wing vein 3-SR 1.45 x vein r. Fore wing vein 2-SR+M 0.95 x vein r. Fore wing vein SR1 3.3 x vein 3-SR. Hind wing vein M+CU 1.5 x 1-M. Hind wing subbasal cell evenly setose. Hind wing vein represented by a short, nebulous wing fold, antefurcal. Hind coxa with strong striation basally. Apex of hind tibia without comb of modified setae medially. Claws without conspicuous pecten. Basal lobes of 1 st tergite large, weakly produced, anteriorly rounded, posteriorly concave. Midlongitudinal carina of 3 rd tergite absent

Note. Very similar to A. risaae sp. nov., but dark marks paler and less extensive, and in addition to distinction in key, the prontal shelf is more strongly sloping as compared to being nearly horizontal in A. risaae .

Etymology. In reference to its close relationship to A. risaae sp. nov.
