Body length 5.0 mm, fore wing length 4.9 mm and antenna length 6.1 mm.

Antenna with 41 flagellomeres. Terminal flagellomere acuminate. Median flagellomeres approximately 2 x longer than wide. Occipital carina broadly effaced medially, ventrally joining hypostomal carina. Mesopleuron largely aciculate, anterodorsally rugulose, precoxal sulcus weakly impressed, sculpture not differentiated, specular area large swollen and shiny but entirely with fine aciculate sculpture. Midlongitudinal propodeal carina complete. Fore wing vein 2-CU1 2.2 x 1-CU1. Apex of fore wing subbasal cell evenly setose. Fore wing vein 3-SR 2.3 x vein r. Fore wing vein 2-SR+M 1 x vein r. Fore wing vein SR1 2.6 x vein 3-SR. Hind wing vein M+CU 1.2 x 1-M. Hind wing subbasal cell evenly setose. Hind wing vein m-cu present, short, straight slightly antefurcal, weakly pigmented. Apex of hind tibia without a comb of specialised adpressed setae. Claws without conspicuous pecten. Basal lobes of 1 st tergite weakly produced, rounded. Third tergite with midlongitudinal carina barely distinguishable on anterior 0.5.

Etymology. In reference to the pale medial mark on the posterior of metasomal tergite 1 and the whole length of metasomal tergite 2.
