Body length 5.8 mm, fore wing length 4.7 mm and antenna length 8.2 mm.

Antenna with 55 flagellomeres. Frons with curved striations radiating from lateral parts of antennal sockets, the more medial ones mnearly meeting at midline. Occipital carina complete, dorsally rounded, ventrally slightly reduced but joining hypostomal carina. Mesopleuron shiny with moderately dense punctures at the bases of setae and distinct longitudinal striation antero-dorsally, precoxal sulcus moderately deep and rather narrow with 4 or 5 strong crenulae, specular area not differentiated. Midlongitudinal propodeal carina present on basal 0.5 to 0.6. Propodeum with weak angulations posterolaterally. Fore wing vein 2-CU1 1.85 x 1-CU1. Apex of fore wing subbasal cell evenly setose. Fore wing vein 3-SR 2.2 x vein r. Fore wing vein 2-SR+M 0.8 x vein r. Fore wing vein SR1 2.2 x vein 3-SR. Hind wing vein M+CU 1.1 x 1-M. Hind wing subbasal cell glabrous on anterior half. Hind wing vein m-cu absent. Apex of hind tibia without comb of modified adpressed setae. Claws slender, without conspicuous pecten. Basal lobes of 1 st tergite moderately developed, curved anteriorly, concave posteriorly. Midlongitudinal carina of 3 rd tergite not differentiated.

Antenna yellow brown at extreme base becoming dark brown towards apex, flagellomeres white from flagellomere 37 or 38 to 50 white.

Etymology. In reference to closeness to A. coronarius .
