Body length 5.2 mm, fore wing length 4 mm and antenna length approx 6 mm.

Antenna with 49 flagellomeres. Terminal flagellomere acuminate. Median flagellomeres 1.2 x longer than wide. Frons with pattern of curved ridges running drom antennal sockets that more or less meet at the midline making large concentric near semicircles. Occipital carina complete, dorsally rounded, ventrally slightly reduced but joining hypostomal carina. Mesopleuron shiny with moderately dense punctures at the bases of setae, precoxal sulcus deep and narrow, foveate, specular area not differentiated. Propodeum with midlongitudinal carina present on anterior 0.4, lateral carina present weakly sinuate. Fore wing vein 2-CU1 1.55 x 1-CU1. Forwing vein cu-a distinctly curved. Apex of fore wing subbasal cell evenly setose. Fore wing vein 3-SR 1.9 x vein r. Fore wing vein 2-SR+M 0.8 x vein r. Fore wing vein SR1 2.65 x vein 3-SR. Hind wing vein M+CU 1 x 1-M. Hind wing subbasal cell glabrous on anterior half. Hind wing vein m-cu absent. Apex of hind tibia without comb of modified adpressed setae. Claws with small pecten of 3 or 4 short teeth on basal lobe. Basal lobes of 1 st tergite well-dveloped, rounded anteriorly, steeply concave posteriorly. Midlongitudinal carina of 3 rd tergite absent.

Antenna with flagellomeres 1–24 black, 25–34 (♀) white and remainder black; ♂ antenna incomplete, at least basal 30 flagellomeres dark.

Etymology. In reference to the pale subterminal flagellomere contrasting with the black apical one. Notes. A specimen with identical sequence from Phetchabun Province, Thung Salaeng Luang NP, Kaeng

Wang Nan Yen , 12.xii.2002, 16° 37.178' N, 100° 53.504' E, unknown collector (voucher BCLDQ00733, Genbank GoogleMaps
