Body length 4.2 mm, fore wing length 4.2 mm and antenna length 6.5 mm.

Antenna with 46 flagellomeres. Termnal flagellomere acuminate. Median flagellomeres 1.8 x longer than wide. Occipital carina marginally oblterated medio-dorsally where it forms point, ventrally complete and lamelliform joining hypostomal carina. Mesopleuron largely rugulose coriaceous, precoxal sulcus weakly impressed rather strongly bowed ventrally with slightly coarser sculpture, speculum absent, groove leading to episternal scrobe very long. Propodeum with complee midlongitudinal carina. Fore wing vein 2-CU1 1.35 x 1- CU1. Apex of fore wing subbasal cell with distinct glabrous zone posteriorly. Fore wing vein 3-SR 1.2 x vein r. Fore wing vein 2-SR+M 0.61 x vein r. Fore wing vein SR1 2.4 x vein 3-SR. Hind wing vein M+CU 1.95 x 1-M. Hind wing subbasal cell evenly setose. Hind wing vein m-cu moderately developed, interstitial to slightly postfurcal. Fore tibia 1.0 x as long as fore tarsus. Apex of hind tibia with a comb of specialised adpressed setae medially and ventrally. Claws with pecten of 7 or 8 long, fine, pale brown teeth on basal lobe, these splaying and distinctly separated, and the penultimate ones longest. Basal lobes of 1 st tergite very large and angular, posteriorly very steeply concave. Midlongitudinal carina of 3 rd tergite complete.

Etymology. Calicis is Latin for goblet in reference to the wine goblet-shaped mark on the 1 st metasomal tergite.
