Body length 5.8 mm, fore wing length 4.0 mm and antenna length 7.7 mm.

Antenna with 45 flagellomeres. Terminal flagellomere pointed. Median flagellomeres 3.2 longer than wide. Occipital carina strong, rounded and complete medio-dorsally, ventrally joining hypostomal carina. Mesopleuron largely punctate-foveate, anteriorly longitudinally striate, precoxal sulcus weakly impressed, rugulose, speculum area aciculate. Midlongitudinal propodeal carina complete but posteriorly somewhat irregular. Propodeum without lateral carina separating it from metapleuron. Fore wing vein 2-CU1 2.5 x 1-CU1. Apex of fore wing subbasal cell evenly setose. Fore wing vein 3-SR 1.3 x vein r. Fore wing vein 2-SR+M 1.1 x vein r. Fore wing vein SR1 3.8 x vein 3-SR. Hind wing vein M+CU 1.3 x 1-M. Hind wing vein m-cu represented only by a faint pigmented line, antefurcal. Apex of hind tibia without comb of modified adpressed setae. Claws with pecten of 3 or 4 setiform teeth on basal lobe. Basal lobes of 1 st tergite moderately large, posteriorly concave, the steepest angls converging at approximately 90 degrees. Midlongitudinal carina of 3 rd tergite differentiated from other longitudinal striation on anterior 0.7 of tergite.

Etymology. In reference to the bases that distinguish this from the closely related A. gaga sp. nov.
