Body length 3.8 mm, fore wing length 3.5 mm and antenna length 4.3 mm.

Antenna with 34 flagellomeres. Terminal flagellomere cylindrical, strongly acuminate. Median flagellomeres 4 x longer than wide. Occipital carina complete though weak mediodorsally, joining hypostomal carina ventrally. Mesopleuron aciculate, procoxal suture coarsely rugulose, weakly impressed, speculum large and polished. [Propodeum obscured by glue]. Fore wing vein 2-CU1 1.3 x 1-CU1. Fore wing vein 3-SR 1.25 x vein r. Fore wing vein 2-SR+M 1 x vein r. Fore wing vein SR1 3.2 x vein 3-SR. Fore wing vein SR1 3.2 x vein 3-SR. Apex of hind tibia with comb of modified adpressed setae. Claw without conspicuous pecten. Basal lobes of 1 st tergite weakly produced, rounded. Midlongitudinal carina of 3 rd tergite distinctly differentiated on anterior 0.8 of tergum.

Etymology. Named after the witch character Tiffany Aching in Terry Pratchett’s Discworld novels.
