Chorasus posticalis: Implied combination based on synonymy of Vitiacus with Chorasus in Ślipiński and Lawrence 1997: 368. Chorasus posticalis: Maddison 2010: 426 .

Type locality: Hollyford.

Broun number: 4052.

Remarks: Broun based this species on a single specimen collected on 20 February, 1914.
