Haifa Bay, Israel: ALA-IL-7 (4 ind.), ALA-IL-10 (51 ind.) [coll. 11.10.2009].
Type locality.
Ireland (Atlantic Ocean).
Distribution.
North-east Atlantic, Arctic Sea ( Ramos et al. 2010), New Caledonia ( Rullier 1972). Mediterranean Sea: WB, CB, AD, AS, LB, BS ( Surugiu 2005).New record for the Israeli coast.
Habitat.
Until 70 m depth, in sandy or muddy sediments, on calcareous substrates.
Remarks.
The examined material differs from the description of San Martín (2003) in having papillated palps.
