Key to species

1. Metope from yellowish brown to dark brown above clypeus ( Fig. 2 ). Head laterally (lora and preocular fields) yellowish brown ( Fig. 1 ). Metopoclypeal suture straight ( Fig. 4 ). Fore wing clavus 4/5 of whole wing length in lateral view ( Fig. 3 ). Hind margin of female sternite VII with short semicircular processes (lobes) medially ( Fig. 7 ). Singapore.... G. mystica ( Melichar, 1899)

–. Metope black above clypeus ( Fig. 15 ). Head laterally (lora and preocular fields) yellowish, with four dark brown bands on each side ( Fig. 16 ). Metopoclypeal suture concave ( Fig. 17 ). Fore wing clavus 9/10 of whole wing length in lateral view ( Fig. 14 ). Hind margin of female sternite VII with long semicircular processes (lobes) medially ( Fig. 19 ). Laos.... G. ridens sp. nov.
