Heterobarcinus new genus
Type species: Barcinus bhoutanensis Usinger & Matsuda 1959
Diagnosis: Larger specimens of 10.4–13.8 mm, distinguished from Barcinus by the pronotum being laterally distinctly bilobate ( bhoutanensis ) or forming a single broad sinuate anterolateral lobe ( kormilevi and n. sp.); the genae shorter than ½ of antennal segment I; postocular spines directed laterally and by the legs uniformly brown, only sometimes with a fading lighter broad median ring on the femora and tibiae.
Etymology: From> heteros <(Greek) different and Barcinus the closest related genus.
