Distribution.

Miocene: Gippsland Lake area of Victoria, Australia; Middle Miocene of Beaumaris, Victoria.

Remarks.

The two syntypes of Truncatoflabellum gippslandicum were reported by Bell (1981) from the NMV (P27064). No other records of this species are known, and the information presented in the key and comparative Table 2 is taken from the original description.
