TYPE LOCALITY: Guinea-Bissau, Bissau .

DISTRIBUTION: Senegal and Guinea to Ethiopia and N.E. Zaire; perhaps Tanzania.

COMMENT: This species is called pusillus by Hayman and Hill, 1971, Part 2:44; but also see Koopman, 1975, Bull. Am. Mus. Nat. Hist., 154:406, 407.
