Tubella carvii Archila (2000: 71)

Homotypic synonyms: Trichosalpinx carvii (Archila) Shaw (2014: 18) . Tubella tactiquensis Archila (2014: 62) , nom. illeg.

Notes:— When proposing Tubella tactiquensis, Archila (2014) did not refer to the earlier name Tubella carvii Archila (2000) , despite the types, illustrations and descriptions being identical, except for minor orthographical variation. The protologues suggest that T. tactiquensis is a homotypic synonym of T. carvii and as such is illegitimate according to Art. 52.1.

Tubella cunorensis Archila (2000: 68)

Homotypic synonyms: Trichosalpinx cunorensis (Archila) Shaw (2014: 18) . Tubella cobanensis Archila (2014: 60) , nom. illeg.

Notes:— When proposing Tubella cobanensis, Archila (2014) did not refer to the earlier name Tubella cunorensis Archila (2000) despite the types, illustrations and descriptions being identical, except for minor orthographical variation. The protologues suggested that T. cobanensis is a homotypic synonym of T. cunorensis and as such is illegitimate according to Art. 52.1.

Tubella franciscantha Archila (2000: 68) , nom. inval.

Homotypic synonyms: Trichosalpinx franciscantha (Archila) Shaw (2014: 18) , nom. inval. Tubella franciscantha Archila (2014: 58) , nom. inval.

Notes:— As with the previous two names, the author published the same species twice. However, in this case the same name was used in both publications. Nevertheless, both are invalid because the citation of two different locations under holotype is in violation of Arts 8.1 and 8.2. Having not being able to inspect original material of this alleged novelty, we refrain from validating the name.
