Pachycondyla minuta: Dlussky et Wedmann, 2012 : 735 (non Pachycondyla minuta MacKay et MacKay, 2010 ), Middle Eocene of Messel, Germany [ MacKay, MacKay, 2010; Dlussky, Wedmann, 2012].

Material. Holotype: FIS MeI 10638, lateral imprint of gyne (the construction of the mesosoma undoubtedly indicates that it is a gyne: the mesonotum is distinctly divided in scutum and scutellum). Paratypes:gynes, FIS MeI 10167, FIS MeI 12250. Other specimens: gynes, FIS MeI 10093, FIS Mel13789, FIS Mel14219.

Type locality and horizon. Grube Messel, Hesse, Germany. Messel Formation, Middle Eocene, c. 47 Ma [ Mertz, Renne, 2005].

Etymology. From the Latin parvulus (small, tiny).
