Material. Holotype PIN 3429/1178, PIN 3429/1173 (counterprint of the same specimen), gyne.
Description. Gyne. Body length ca.4mm. Head very large, 0.86 times as long as wide, with weakly convex sides, rounded occipital corners and straight occipital margin. Eyes comparatively small, oval, situated in the middle of the sides of the head. Gena longer, than maximum eye diameter. Scutum longer than wide and 3 times as long as scutellum. Propodeum unarmed. Petiole with rounded node and comparatively long peduncle, 1.7times as long as high. Postpetiole a little longer than high. Gaster oval. Head and evidently mesosoma densely longitudinally striated.
Measurements of holotype, mm: AL 1.3; HL 0.9; HW 1; ED 0.14; SctL 0.46; SctlL 0.15; PtL 0.25; PtH 0.15; PptL 0.27; PptH0.25.
Etymology. Laticeps is the Latin for “with wide head”.
