Type :— MYANMAR, Moulmein, 1885, Wallich 4852E (Holotype: BR; isotypes: K-W!, P!) .
Size not known. Exudate not known. Twigs not known. Petiole short, 5–9 mm long. Lamina leathery, elliptic or oblong, 11.7–12.5 × 3.7–6 cm, pale brown, apex sharply acute or not, base broadly acute or nearly round; margin entire and revolute; midrib flattened above and raised below; secondary veins fine, visible below, a mixture of eucamptodromous and cladodromous, running nearly parallel, at c. 85º from the midrib; glandular lines faint, fine and inconspicuous below. Inflorescences perhaps terminal, in clusters of 4–6 flowers; sepals and petals 4. Male flowers not found. Female flowers nearly sessile or with a short pedicel, to 3 mm long; sepals membranous, broadly ovate; petals concave, to 5 mm long; staminodes absent; ovary short, tipped by 6-lobed, convex stigma. Fruit not found.
Distribution and Habitat:—Lowland forest in Myanmar.
Taxonomic Notes:—Represented only by the type specimens with immature and detached flowers.
