Distribution: Bolivia, Brazil, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, México, Panamá, and United States.

Material studied ( Fig. 5 View FIGURES 5 – 8 ): Bolivia: La Paz: Coroico: 16º 11´S 67º 44´W, 3 males, 2 females, Denier Coll., ( MLP). Pando: Santa Fé de Chipri: 10º 47´S 66º 59´W, 1 female, IV/1953, Martínez col., ( MLP).

Observations: There are female specimens from Bolivia that have the apex of the head red as in the Central American populations.
