Persian Gulf. Utinomi (1969) from Khark Island in Iran ( Fig. 1 ); attached to the sea turtle Chelonia mydas ( Linnaeus, 1758) .

Gulf of Oman. No record.

General distribution and habitat. Tropical Atlantic and Indo-West Pacific; attached to sea turtles ( Jones et al. 2000).
