First record from Uruguay. 1♀ 2♂ Bella Unión , 30°15'39"S; 57°35'58"W, 23 March 2014.

Remarks. The species can be identified by the reduction of the 12th antennal flagellomere, and the broad subgenital plate in the female which bears a pair of rosette-like structures ( Figure 2G ). It is recorded in Brazil and other countries showing a pan-tropical distribution ( Bravo et al. 2006).
