Leg І 23 (23–25), femur 7 (7–8), basiventral femoral seta (bv) 10 (10–11); genu 4 (4–5), antaxial genual seta (l ') 7 (7–8); tibia 4 (4–5); tarsus 5 (5–6), seta ft ' 7 (6–7), seta ft ' 21 (19–21), seta u ' 5 (4–5); tarsal empodium (em) 6 (6–7), simple, 5-rayed, tarsal solenidion (ω) 8 (7–8), knobbed. Opisthosoma: dorsally with 48 (48–53) annuli, with three ridges, middorsal ridged shorter than lateral ridges, ending in a broad furrow, with round microtubercles, ventrally with 69 (69–71) annuli, with round microtubercles on rear annular margins. Setae c2 20 (20–23) on ventral annulus 15 (15–16), 42 (42–43) apart; setae d 40 (40–43) on ventral annulus 29 (29–31), 35 (33–35) apart; setae e 17 (17–18) on ventral annulus 47 (47–49), 12 (12–13) apart, setae f 23 (23–25) on 7th ventral annulus from rear, 18 (18–20) apart. MALE: Unknown.
Type material. Holotype, female (slide number NJAUAcariEriH22, marked Holotype), from Agrimonia pilosa Ledeb. (Rosaceae) , Jiagedaqi, Heilongjiang Province, P. R. China, 50°24'27''N, 124°06'43''E, elevation 365m, 18 July 2008, coll. Xiao-Feng Xue, Zhen Wang & Zi-Wei Song. Paratypes, 4 females and 9 males (slide number NJAUAcariEriH22), with the same data as holotype.
Differential diagnosis. This species is similar to Calepitrimerus anatis Keifer, 1940 , from Amelanchier alnifolia (Nutt.) Nutt. ex M. Roemer (Rosaceae) , but can be differentiated from the latter by the scapular setae projecting outwards (scapular setae projecting medially in C. anatis ) and the empodium 5-rayed (empodium 7-
rayed in C. anatis ).
